For this book design inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Match Girl, I explore poverty, longing, and innocence through an abstract, contemporary lens. Dark, cool imagery is broken by the match’s warm glow, emphasizing isolation while bridging the 1845 tale and today.
